Through our molding division, we provide custom surface textures that enhance the appearance, durability, and performance of products in the consumer, automotive, packaging, and building materials industries.Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician / Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of injection molding machines, soft trim lamination equipment, industrial robots, and auxiliary manufacturing equipment. This role is critical during plant startup and production ramp-up, requiring strong industrial maintenance, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on injection molding equipment, industrial robots, and auxiliary equipment to ensure consistent production readinessTroubleshoot and repair mechanical maintenance and electrical maintenance issues involving hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, PLCs, robotics, and industrial controlsDiagnose equipment failures and perform equipment troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiencySet up, align, and calibrate molds to support efficient production launches and changeoversMaintain facility and building systems including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and hydraulic infrastructureSchedule, document, and complete routine industrial maintenance tasks using maintenance logs or CMMS systemsOrder, track, and manage spare parts inventory in coordination with procurementMaintain accurate maintenance documentation and repair recordsCollaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with OSHA safety standards and environmental regulationsDemonstrate reliability, accountability, and a strong work ethic in all maintenance activitiesRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma preferred)Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining injection molding machines in a manufacturing environment2-3 years of experience as a maintenance technician, industrial maintenance technician, electronics technician, or robotics technicianStrong mechanical maintenance and electrical troubleshooting skillsWorking knowledge of PLCs, robotics maintenance, hydraulics and pneumatics, electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbingExperience working with electrical systems ranging from 12VDC to 480VAC three-phase powerProven problem-solving skills and ability to learn new equipment and processes quicklyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionWillingness to work overtime and weekends as neededAbility to lift up to 50 poundsMust be punctual, dependable, and reliableLegal authorization to work in the United StatesPreferred AttributesPositive, team-oriented attitudeStrong communication and collaboration skillsExperience supporting automotive, consumer products, packaging, or building materials manufacturing
