About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Able Seaman to join our team. As an Able Seaman, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessels. You will work closely with the Captain and other crew members to maintain the vessel, equipment, and cargo. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be critical to the success of our operations. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within the company.Minimum Qualifications:Valid Able Seaman certificationExperience working on offshore work vesselsKnowledge of safety protocols and emergency response proceduresAbility to work long hours and in various weather conditionsStrong communication and teamwork skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with navigation and electronic charting systemsFamiliarity with international maritime regulationsExperience with cargo handling and stowageExperience with maintenance and repair of diesel engines and hydraulic systemsExperience with firefighting and first aidResponsibilities:Performing routine maintenance and repairs on the vessel and equipmentAssisting with loading and unloading of cargoNavigating the vessel under the direction of the CaptainMonitoring and maintaining safety equipment and protocolsAssisting with emergency response proceduresSkills:As an Able Seaman, you will use your strong communication and teamwork skills to work closely with the Captain and other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our vessels. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be critical to the success of our operations. You will also use your knowledge of navigation and electronic charting systems, as well as your experience with cargo handling and stowage, to assist with the loading and unloading of cargo. Additionally, your experience with maintenance and repair of diesel engines and hydraulic systems, as well as your familiarity with international maritime regulations, will be beneficial in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessels.
