As a Dishwasher, you play a critical behind-the-scenes role in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and our guests receive the best possible experience. You'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen tools, dishware, and workspaces. With a strong work ethic and attention to detail, you'll help uphold our high standards for safety, sanitation, and efficiency. In addition to dishwashing duties, you may assist with basic food preparation tasks that support kitchen operations and ensure the next shift is properly prepared. If you take pride in a job well done and want to be part of a hardworking, respectful team, we'd love to have you in our kitchen.Location - 5109 Kirby Dr, Houston, TX 77098RESPONSIBILITIESAssist bussers in setting up trash cans for dining areas and kitchen areasStock and restock all clean plates and utensilsSweep and mop dish room and kitchen floors as neededClean bathroomsRetrieve clean trash cans and place throughout kitchen with trash bags in themClean all kitchen floor mats and trash cans outside in the proper washing down areaClean all pots, pans, plates, utensils, and machines used during the shift and store them in the proper placeClean dish room to company standards and maintain all supplies needed to operate effectively per shiftAssist prep cooks and bussers as needed by emptying all bus tubs and washing bus tubsPrepare potato salad as needed by chopping potatoes and eggs, mixing batches, portioning into pans, covering with plastic wrap, and labeling and dating for proper storageEnsure potato salad prep is completed for the next shift by both AM and PM dishwashers when requiredIf no prep work is needed, confirm with the Manager on Duty (MOD) for additional tasksPerform any duties specified by the management teamAlways follow company safety policies and guidelinesQUALIFICATIONSMust be 18 years of ageMust display exceptional customer service and communication skillsMust take pride in your work, have a keen eye for detail, and be accountable to yourself and to our customersPunctual and reliable attendanceAble to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as neededHelpful attitude and friendly demeanorKnowledge of general sanitary and safety practicesAble to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidaysFood Handler CertifiedBENEFITSMedical membership with preventive and diagnostic coverage during the first year (part-time)Eligibility for full medical benefits after 12 months of consistent full-time hoursFood DiscountsWeekly PayrollAccess to wellness resources and support services
