Are you an outgoing, energetic, creative sales professional with positive relationship skills looking to lead a sales department? The Greensboro Swarm is looking for a Manager of Ticket Sales & Services to lead our sales and services department. You will collaborate with the President of the Greensboro Swarm to drive sales goals by leading, training, coaching and developing the sales and services team members. You will build the overall strategy for growing revenue, developing and implementing the season tickets, group sales, partial plans and individual game ticket sales.Core ValuesHSE embodies the following core values: IntegrityTeamworkCompetitivenessCandorAccountabilityResilienceEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesGrow revenue for team (e.g., season tickets, group sales, mini-plans) and group ticket sales, through sales and initiativesLead, develop, motivate, a team of three Account ExecutivesIdentify potential, creative new streams of ticket revenue and strategically cultivate relationships to secure salesExhibit a solution-based approach that enhances the value proposition and creates compelling, innovative ticket programs and assets targeted toward specific marketing objectivesCreate weekly sales reports and updates on sales team and sales goalsDevelop sales plans (e.g., structure of ticket packages, pricing, and flexibility), and tailor to market's needsAssist in developing long-term renewal strategy for all season ticket holdersWork to achieve and meet individual and team goals established at start of each fiscal yearPractice and teach excellence in both sales skills/process and customer relationship building practicesLead and fully implement key initiatives that support organization's sales strategyAssist account executives in creating and nurturing relationship with clients and prospects through various means including; networking events, prospecting at games, in-seat visit at games, etc.Understand department budgets and increase revenue within that budgetProvide timely and accurate records of sales efforts both to leadership and within CRM system detailing sales activity, sales performance, appointment recaps, prospecting activities and attendance recordsWork with our Business Manager in various Ticketmaster functions (e.g., ticket operations functions, archtics, reporting)Perform independent projects and other duties as assigned by the President of the Greensboro SwarmRequired Skills, Experience, and AbilitiesTo perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the followingBachelor's degree requiredMinimum of 1-2 years confirmed experience leading sales and service efforts; experience with professional, minor league or college team is preferredExperience in sales trainingProficient in CRM and ticketing software (Ticketmaster), experience in Archtics is preferredExcellent leadership abilities, including enthusiastic thinking and collaboration to drive the optimal business decisionsExceptional communication skills; participate well in a team environment, communicate well with people at various levels and be able to develop strong working relationships with community, co-workers and other organizationsSelf-motivated teammate who has the drive and ability to focus on both team and individual revenue goals, as well as, department and organizational objectivesAbility to establish and manage sales targets, revenue goals across a diverse number of productsAbility to align and prioritize organizational goals over individual interestsWell organized and have strong time management skills along with customer service skillsFlexibility to adapt to a frequently changing work environment, and deliver work in a fast paced environmentAbility to work extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and all home gamesAdditional InformationThis is a full time benefit eligible position.
