We have been awarded as one of the Best Places to Work in 2021 and for many years prior.The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays an integral administrative role involving client invoicing, client payment processing and record keeping. This position provides a great entrée into the world of multi-family architecture and offers career growth opportunities.Job DescriptionGenerating invoices and account statementsFollowing up with clients on aged receivables and maintaining proper A/R reportingProcess client payments and provide timely updates and responses to consultantsMaintain billing and A/R related reporting and spreadsheetsAssist in creation of monthly projectionsWork closely with administrative and accounting team and helping out with additional tasks as neededAnswer questions and solve problems independently with cross-training to provide accurate informationProvide professional, timely, courteous and accurate service to employees, clients and consultantsWhat you need to bring:Minimum 2 years of office administration or reception experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience, sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job)Previous accounts receivable and/or booking experience preferredAn ability to prioritize and manage expectationsBe able to learn quickly and follow detailed instructionsCommunication Proficiency (oral and written), Customer Focus, Team Orientation, Multi-TaskingService oriented attitude in all office, client and consultant communicationsStrong proficiency in MS Office SuiteStrong organizational skills and detail-orientationHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED)College degree and/or related experience and training preferredAdditional Eligibility QualificationsAbility to interact with senior management, staff, clients and consultants as a service professional at all timesMotor valid driver's license and insuranceExhibit motivation and initiative, flexible and energetic spiritFamiliar with basic bookkeeping procedures, strong attention to detailGood analytical skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task job dutiesProvide consistently accurate serviceAbility to follow through and help with tasks as a team playerProven computer experience; proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel requiredAbility to lift 40 pounds repetitivelyPosition requires frequent reaching, bending, standing and sitting for prolonged periodsWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment with a casual business attire for employees.
