As we expand our teams in Vancouver and Los Angeles, we are seeking skilled and motivated technicians who want to grow with us and help drive our mission to become one of the top AV/Home Automation providers in the industry.Perks & Benefits:3 weeks PTOAnnual education allowance of up to $1,000Referral programResidential housing discount after 1 year of continuous employmentFriends and family rates for our Hotel Properties throughout the companyWhat Will You Do?Install, pre-wire, program, commission, and troubleshoot AV and home automation systemsPerform ongoing service, maintenance, and upgrades as requiredTrain clients on system usage and respond to technical inquiriesMaintain high levels of safety, organization, and professionalism on all job sitesRead and interpret electrical, architectural, and signal-flow drawingsSupport project completion with additional tasks as requiredWhat You Will Bring:Lutron Ra3 - Lutron Homework's qsx - Lutron shades & savant - being certified on one of these is a requirementMinimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the AV, home automation, or low-voltage industryExperience in integrated security, networking, and audio-visual systems, specifically experiences performed installations and service workExperience installing or servicing AV, automation, security, or networking systemsAbility to work independently and problem-solve effectivelyAbility to lift 50 lbs or moreComfortable working on residential and commercial sites, including mid- to high-rise buildingsProficient with Windows or macOSStrong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)Ability to read technical drawings and documentationMust have basic personal tools (hand tools, drills, multimeters, terminating tools)Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordStrong interpersonal and customer-service abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional, reliable, and detail-orientedPositive attitude with a willingness to learn and growTQ certification (Canada), U.S. equivalents, or FSR certification considered a bonusCEDIA certification is a bonus, not requiredSalary Range:$55,000 - 75,000 USD Per YearAbout The Company:OnniFor over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
