We offer Daily pay! Access up to 50% of your earned wages after every shift.The SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel, located in Uptown Charlotte, is hiring for full-time Housekeeping Attendants. The persons hired for these positions will work 9am-5pm; weekday and weekend availability is required. PRIMARY PURPOSE: To maximize customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean guestrooms, in accordance with company and brand standards.RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures customer satisfaction by cleaning customer rooms according to SREE and brand standardsRemoves soiled bed and bath linens and replaces with clean linens, as requiredRemoves accumulated trash and debris from room as requiredCleans bathroom area, dusts all surfaces, replenishes room amenities, cleans floors and vacuums rooms as requiredReports unusual circumstances to Hotel ManagementReports maintenance requests and replacement ordersMaximizes job efficiency by ensuring the supply cart is neat, stocked and orderlyEnsures quality and quantity of the contents of the linen closet by organizing and cleaning it and notifies housekeeping manager or supervisor immediately if any stock shortages existREQUIREMENTS1 year of housekeeping experience preferredMust be flexible in work hours to accommodate last minute changes in schedulingMust be available to work weekend shiftsKnowledge of cleaning equipment, cleaning techniques and safe use of chemicals is essentialMust be able to change tasks and adjust energy level needed to accommodate a fast-paced environmentMust achieve required threshold scores according to brand and company inspectionsJOB SETTING AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSEmployees in this position work primarily indoors. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, bend and crawl, squat and crouch, and tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 30 lbs.
