These four entities are:Forestry & Utility DivisionEnvironmental DivisionTechnology & Innovation DivisionSustainability DivisionJOB SUMMARY: The Environmental Specialist I is responsible for participating in a wide range of projects which may include Asbestos Inspections, Asbestos Abatement Observations, IAQ Investigations, and Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:Conducting industrial hygiene assessments for chemical and noise exposuresConduct research, complete reviews, and compile reportsSite visits to include field sampling, data collection, field equipment operation, and other field activities associated with environmental projectsWith support and guidance from Environmental Specialist II/III and Senior Environmental Specialists, works independently on projects ranging from small to medium and assists senior staff on larger projectsMaintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetingsSupport, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright's and Eocene Environmental Group's culture of safety and employee ownershipComply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and proceduresOTHER DUTIES: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
