Description :SamplingCompounds fragrance oils as per business priorities and due delivery dates applying global good laboratory practices, standard operating procedures, supported with the digital tools and software's availableDelivers the minimum required average nb of manual pours/day as per the global target and the target defined by the creation lab manager (excluding pours that could have or should have been tasked to the robot, except where specifically authorized)Optimizes the number of pours to be done manually when applicableStock managementKeeps the personal workbench clean and organized as per the best practices and optimizes its personal collection of raw materials.Keeps the personal collection of raw materials fresh and ensures all expired ones are removed from the personal workbench.Keeps the personal physical workbench collection up to date with the personal collection in digital systemsKeeps organized and up to date the collection of fragrance oil related to the perfumers / oil library.QHSS&EEnsures compliance with all QHS&E procedures and proactively contributes to the improvement of lab safetyMaintains a clean and well-organized laboratory/workplaceEnsures all samples produced meet the quality standards as per the global SOPs before releasing the samplesReports any non conformance to the laboratory supervisor or managerContinuous improvement and efficiencyAdopts a culture of continuous improvement, and actively participates in LEAN projectsOperates with a team spirit mindset and supports the colleagues under high workload situations Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED requiredBachelor's degree in chemistry preferred not requiredFragrance lab experienceStock Management skillsQHSS&ESampling skillsShift - 2nd shift - 4pm-10pm (swing Shift) Benefits: Healthcare Insurance: Synectics offers eligible employees and their dependents healthcare coverage through BlueCross BlueShield of Illinois. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus.
