Pay rates are based on education, skill,experience level and internal equity. Internal equity considerations include anassessment of the applicant's salary history and qualifications in comparisonto the market rate and requirements for the job. If you are interested in making a difference in thecommunity, positively influence others, and working for the citizens ofMecklenburg County, then MCSO wants you to come Join Our Team.Position Summary: Incumbent must have exceptional transcription, grammar, spelling and typingskills to transcribe investigative interviews for the Office of ProfessionalCompliance and to prepare documents for the Administrative Review Board. Allinformation is highly confidential and requires maturity of thought. Incumbentwill also be in contact with the public and employees during high stressperiods and must have good communication and de-escalation skills. Excellentorganizational and data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy area must. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Qualifications: High School Diploma, or G.E.D., and four years of progressively responsibleclerical experience in area of assignment; or an equivalent combination oftraining and experience.
