Pre-ID Candidate FAA Position - Rocky Mount, NC (Honeywell Facility) Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour Shift: Third Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Sunday-Thursday) Timekeeping: TWB Location: Honeywell facility in Rocky Mount, NC (Local candidates only; within ~50 miles. No relocation offered.) Key Requirements: Vision testing must be completed within the first week of assignment. U.S. Citizenship required. Mechanical and technical experience required, along with basic computer skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Must be able to work overtime, including weekends (OT must be pre-approved). Job Responsibilities: Perform standard testing processes on various equipment; record and analyze results. Use precision tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment for assembly, inspections, calibration, and testing of hydro-mechanical fuel controls in an aerospace production environment. Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations. Work from electronic instructions, engineering procedures, blueprints, and specifications. Inspect parts and products for quality; report defects and initiate corrective actions. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to 5S standards. Participate in daily Tier meetings, continuous improvement, and problem-solving activities. Qualifications: Basic: High School Diploma, ability to interpret blueprints, use precision measuring devices, and work with hand tools. Basic computer skills and intermediate math required. Preferred: 2-3 years' experience in assembly/testing in a manufacturing environment. Associate's degree, Six Sigma training/certification, NC WorkKeys Career Readiness Certificate (Silver or Gold). Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced aerospace environment. Special Considerations: Lifting will not exceed 30 lbs. Exposure to machine, chemical, and physical risks anticipated. Training will be on-the-job (OJT).
