Students are encouraged to actively participate in the school community, and OLP graduates are prepared to make a positive impact in STEAM fields and beyond.Position OverviewThe Camp Coordinator is a seasonal, on-site position responsible for supporting the daily operations of Pilot Summer Academy. This role assists with scheduling, activity logistics, communication, and the overall camper and staff experience. The Camp Coordinator works closely with the Camp Director, counselors, and Teaching Fellows to ensure camp runs smoothly, safely, and in alignment with the camp's mission to provide a fun, inclusive, and enriching environment for all participants.Essential ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesSupport the Camp Director in daily camp operations, scheduling, and logisticsAssist with camper check-in, dismissal, attendance tracking, and group transitionsCommunicate daily updates and needs to counselors, Teaching Fellows, and other staffHelp organize materials, supplies, and activity spaces for STEAM rotations and camp eventsServe as a point of contact for minor camper or staff needs, questions, or concernsEnsure camp spaces are safe, clean, and organized throughout the dayAssist in supervising campers during transitions, lunch, and special activitiesLead or support activities, games, and events as neededMaintain positive communication with families when appropriateAttend staff training and meetings, and support a positive, team-oriented camp cultureRequired Documents & Pre-Employment Requirements:Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and two professional references from current or former supervisors. Candidates must also provide official transcripts, a current negative TB test result or TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire, complete required training, and successfully complete Livescan fingerprinting. Training will take place on June 11, 2026 and June 12, 2026 from 8 am to 4 pm. Camp runs from June 15, 2026 through June 17, 2026 from 8 am to 4 pmPreferred QualificationsExperience in youth program coordination, school settings, or student supervisionFamiliarity with scheduling, attendance systems, or administrative organizationCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Salary Description $23/hour
