Applicants requiring new H-1B visa sponsorship will not be considered.Job DescriptionReporting to the Director of Capital Planning & Construction, the Maintenance Reserve Manager is primarily responsible for tracking, planning, and implementing Radford University's maintenance reserve (MR) program. The position will manage multiple simultaneous MR construction projects across all Radford University campuses.Required Qualifications• Education, training, and experience in a field related to construction• Experience with the design & construction of complex building and infrastructure projects across diverse building construction methods• Experience with budgeting, estimating, and financial forecasting• Experience with construction scheduling, logistics, safety, and QA/QC• Experience with design/construction documents and building codes• Experience with contractual expectations and responsibilities• Skilled in clear, timely, and helpful communication• Demonstrated conflict resolution and team-building skills• Excellent time management and prioritization skills• Ability to maintain professional relationships with associates, subordinates, contractors, designers, and the university communityPreferred Qualifications:• Experience on "state-owned" projects with knowledge of higher education facilities requirements, especially in Virginia• Experience with the processes and policies of the Commonwealth of Virginia Construction and Professional Services Manual (CPSM)• Depth of knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems • Understanding of Erosion and Sediment Control measures and installation practices, with basic emphasis on compliance inspections, reporting, and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPP) monitoring • Experience developing and utilizing databases• Knowledge of scheduling software, Bluebeam, Project Management Information System platforms (Procore, BIM 360, etc.), and Microsoft OfficeEmployment Conditions: Valid driver's license.Is this position Grant Funded: NoIs this position restricted: NoIs this position eligible for telework: NoHours Per Week: 40Months per Year: 12Statement of Economic Interest Required: NoFLSA Status: ExemptWork Classification: Classified StaffNormal Work Schedule: M-F 8:00 -5:00, evenings & weekends as required.Employee Classification: Architect/Engineer IDepartment: Planning & ConstructionSalary: $83,221 - $103,700 (Depending on experience)Department Contact Name: Paul ElyDepartment Contact Phone: 540-831-7817Department Contact Email: Opportunity Statement:Radford University does not discriminate with regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, disability, age, veteran status, national origin, religion, or political affiliation in the administration of its educational programs, activities, admission or employment practices.Clery StatementIn compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Radford University publishes an Annual Security and Fire Safety Report.
