Quality Control Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a diligent Quality Control Laboratory Technician to perform routine lab testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This role ensures that all testing is conducted according to established procedures and contributes to maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities + Conduct routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products following established procedures. + Record and analyze test results accurately and efficiently. + Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean lab environment. + Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for testing. + Assist with quality investigations and root cause analysis when test results fall outside specifications. Essential Skills + 1-3 years of laboratory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. + Proficiency in laboratory equipment and testing procedures. + Strong attention to detail. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems. + Experience with ERP/MRP and SAP systems. + Knowledge of chemistry and calibration processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + AA or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field preferred. + Current students in related fields are also encouraged to apply. + Knowledge of the industry and networking capabilities is a plus. Work Environment Join a small, dedicated team working across two shifts. The position requires wearing a mask due to powder and dust in the air. The role is onsite from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. After 90 days of employment, you will be eligible for 40 hours of CA sick pay. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Mirada, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
