If your outside interests include golf, tennis, spa, beach, water sports, equestrian, shopping or just relaxation, we have the employee discounts to match.POSITION OBJECTIVEMaintain linen par levels, log inventory items, wash and fold duvets, shower curtains and liners.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSSorts soiled bed sheets and pillowcases, place them in laundry cart, and drop them in the loading dock. All laundry bins must be ready in a timely manner and sent to Virginia Linen for processing.Sorts soiled all types of towels (Bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, bathmats), rugs, and robes. All linen terry/towels are processed in house through washer and dryers.Sorts clean towels, rugs, and robes. Uses towel folder and manual folding for bath towels, washcloths, rugs and robes. Places folded product on appropriate rack. Everything is folded manually as there is no towel folder in the house.Operates and maintains folding & iron equipment while following safety procedures. Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager. The only equipment to operate and maintain is the washers and dryers.weight they can lift, carry and push Less than or equal to 55 poundsWashing and folding of linen.Maintain inventory levels. Report any linen/inventory shortages to appropriate managers.Report any safety or security issues to the appropriate manager or supervisor.In addition to performing the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of other supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the requirements of the hotel.Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards. Perform other duties as requested, such as restocking linen closet as needed. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEHigh school or equivalent education required. REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, use hands to fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; talk and hear. The employee must be able to see differences in widths and length of lines such as those on graphs.
