This position requires a proactive, customer focused leader with a strong foundation in food service operations, compliance, and hospitality. The Café Manager oversees daily operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and fosters a welcoming environment that reflects the community’s values and standards. Key Responsibilities:Operational Oversight• Manage all aspects of Café operations, including food preparation, beverage service,sanitation, and inventory control.• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations, including documentation of inspections and temperature logs.• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across all Café areas.• Operate and maintain point-of-sale systems, ensuring accurate tracking of inventory and sales.• Monitor and control costs to ensure fiscal responsibility and budget adherence.Customer Experience• Develop and implement seasonal menu offerings that reflect customer preferences andenhance satisfaction.• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, baked goods, and other food items with attention to quality and presentation.• Demonstrate proficiency in barista techniques and equipment operation. Team Leadership• Collaborate with the Culinary Director to recruit, train, and onboard new employees andvolunteers.• Foster a culture of hospitality and customer service excellence.• Provide coaching and support to team members to ensure consistent performance andengagement.Collaboration and Community Engagement• Partner with the Activity and Marketing Teams to integrate the Café into resident programs, events, and employee engagement initiatives.• Work cross-functionally with the Executive Director and other departments to enhanceresident and guest experiences.• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and vendors.Safety and Compliance• Ensure safe work practices are followed, including injury prevention and infection control protocols.• Maintain ServSafe certification and adhere to all food safety standards.Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent required.• ServSafe Manager certification preferred.• Basic ServSafe certification required within 90 days of hire.• Minimum of two years of food service experience preferred.• Experience in a long-term care setting preferred.Majestic Difference Benefits:Quarterly Pay IncreaseDaily PayCompany-Paid Life InsuranceTelehealth ServicesDouble Pay on HolidayCare Team Member Relief Fund Join the Majestic Care team where compassion meets excellence! #MCare
