Job TitleGeologistLocationHouston - Houston, 77072 US (Primary)CategoryProfessionalJob TypeFull-timeJob DescriptionResults Statement:The Geologist will support the project manager, staff engineers, laboratory manager, or other staff as directed to assure client satisfaction following the applicable standards, specifications and company guidelines. Ongoing Work:Perform field logging for geotechnical site investigation in various geologic bedrock formations across the State of Texas.Train geotechnical field technicians on characterizing bedrock samples obtained in various geological formations.Access and analyze project site geological formations using geological maps prior to site investigations and advice the project team.Perform laboratory tests.Document the work performed as appropriate.Provide support to Project Manager, Staff Engineers and/or Laboratory Manager as needed.Perform duties in a safe, cheerful, efficient and workman like manner.Get cross trained on laboratory testing.
