This role involves landscaping, general grounds maintenance, and seasonal work including snow removal. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to follow instructions while working independently or as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesPlant grass, shrubs, trees, and flowersInstall and maintain water fountains, fences, gates, retaining walls, rock gardens, and other landscape featuresClean and maintain outdoor furnitureApply mulch, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticidesMaintain green spaces by weeding, trimming, and pruningRemove unhealthy or unwanted plants, shrubs, trees, and downed limbsOperate hand tools and power equipment including mowers, leaf blowers, snowblowers, and tillersWater lawns and gardensRake leaves and clear vegetation from lawns and flower bedsRemove trash and debris from outdoor areasOperate snow removal equipment and shovel walkways during winter conditionsWork collaboratively with maintenance crew members and construction specialists as neededRequirements for SuccessHighly motivated and dependableAbility to follow directions and work safelyStrong attention to detailGood manual dexterityAbility to communicate clearly and effectively
