Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/React) Location: Dedham, Massachusetts Type: Contract Job #86980 Our DoD/Aerospace client is looking to fill a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/React) position that just opened in Dedham, MA. In this role, you will build secure, modern applications that manage cryptographic infrastructure and mission systems using best-in-class full stack practices across Java and React. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience). Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.Location: Dedham, MA Position: Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/React) Contract: 12-24 months with possibility of going direct Pay: $71.75/hour CLEARANCE: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire In this role you will use your technical and interpersonal skills to: Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical full stack applications (Java/React) for cybersecurity and key management workflows Implement scalable RESTful services, database models, and frontend components aligned with DoD standards Write unit and integration tests while ensuring code quality, security, and performance optimization Collaborate with product, security, and systems teams to refine requirements and deliver features Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to architecture and design documentation Support readiness reviews and security compliance activities Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience Experience working in Agile or Scaled Agile environments U.S. citizenship is required Clearance Requirements: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Knowledge Skills And Abilities: Strong proficiency in Java including enterprise development patterns Experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks Database experience including SQL and PostgreSQL Experience with ORM tools such as Hibernate Familiarity with the Spring ecosystem including Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security Strong understanding of secure software development practices and defensive programming Experience designing and consuming REST APIs Familiarity with Material UI and modern React patterns such as hooks and state management Knowledge of PKI, digital certificates, and secure key handling Experience with application servers such as WildFly or similar Familiarity with SNMP for monitoring and management integrations Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work across cross-functional teams and handle complex technical challenges About our client: Our client is a mission critical DoD - Aerospace defense contractor developing solutions that will lead, serve, and protect our country.
