Procurement Sourcing Specialist - Diagnostics

1st Shift Hours 8 hours a day. Hybhrid Schedule: 3 Days On-Site THE OPPORTUNITY: --Responsible for executing Direct Procurement Operations activities for diagnostics --Primary responsibility as a Project Support Specialist to facilitate our transition to a new SAP ERP system, focusing on master data cleansing and migration workstreams to ensure seamless integration within the new environment. This role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute project milestones, manage technical documentation, and support the successful rollout of the system across the organization. --In addition responsibilities could include Operational Procurement activities including supplier management, escalations, sourcing, cost savings, and continuous improvement EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE --University degree, with a business-related or supply chain degree, preferably a post-graduate business qualification. -- 3+ years of procurement experience with experience in basic contracting, business enterprise systems, and spot buying ----Experience with enterprise systems and procure-to-pay tools and eSourcing tools is required --Experience or demonstrated understanding in supporting cost reduction and value improvement programs --Experience in operational excellence or continuous improvement methodologies as well as experience in Life Sciences are a plus KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES --Understands and frequently uses quantitative and / or qualitative data to drive decisions --Identifies risks to support statements or hypotheses --Works independently to develop and implement a negotiation plan / strategy (May need assistance in leading complex or challenging negotiations) --Good communication skills and demonstrated understanding of translating business requirements into procurement specifications with customer service in mind --Tailors messages and communications appropriately with limited supervision to ensure understanding --Contributes to meetings and team presentations/briefings and asks appropriate questions to gather information --High level of proficiency in business enterprise tools and understanding of the end-to-end procurement process; SAP experience required Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
