Company DescriptionManufacturing companyJob DescriptionGeneral Corporate AccountantScottsdale, AZ, USGeneral Corporate Accountant Position Summary: The General Accountant's primary role is to perform monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger duties as part of the Corporate Accounting team. Additional responsibilities include knowledge transfer activities, process improvement, and technology implementation support. A successful candidate for the role must be detail-oriented, resourceful, organized, customer-focused, deadline-driven, and a team player. Responsibilities: Assist with preparation of month-end financial statementsPrepare balance sheet reconciliations for high level accountsMaintain and operate standard period-end closing schedulesPrepare and post accurate journal entries related to assigned areas of accountingPerform daily treasury control activitiesPrepare bank reconciliationsFixed assets and lease accountingSupport audit requestsSupport projects, implementations, and knowledge transfers as assignedEnsure timely response to internal and external stakeholders Contribute to the design and operation of the internal control frameworkRequired skills: Strong written and spoken communicationProficient understanding of basic principles of accountingExcellent time management and detail orientationAnalytical, problem solving, and organizational skillsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in AccountingCPA preferred2-5 years of experience in multi-location/entity or public company experiencePublic company or external audit experience preferredStrong knowledge of US GAAPProficiency with accounting technology including Microsoft officeExperience with OneStream preferredThis role is 100% onsite in Scottsdale AZ.QualificationsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Thank YouArnold AvilaXceed Search(480) 419-1311http:
