Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is "On-Site" at the location detailed in the job post.The Material Handler/Forklift Driver is responsible for transporting products, packaging and raw materials to and from production lines, packaging areas, and trailers. Organizes packaging and return areas, loads or unloads trailers.Hours: 4 p.m. - 4 a.m.Ways you will make a differenceCompletes daily checklist form. Replenishes fluids and generates maintenance work request forms for repairs neededMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsPicks and stages packaging and supplies at work sitesReceives materials from production by verifying and identifying information and quantity of materials, placing materials in inventoryLoad and unload trailersVerifies case/pallet counts and patterns. Reports any discrepancies to the floor and/or the department supervisor.Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to all safety methodsAdheres to all Good Manufacturing PracticesAssist in inventory reconciliation processMaintains a clean and neat work area at all timesMaintains inventory control system by tracking, moving, and shipping the product using SAP system and/or Excel spreadsheet Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesSkills that will make you successfulSkills in operating a Reach and Standup Forklift and hand jackAbility to speak, write and read EnglishWillingness to work overtime as neededAbility to work with minimum supervisionCan safely lift up to 60 poundsAble to operate a stretch-wrapperPromote teamwork, possess a good attitude, and exhibit flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed Experiences that will support your successMinimum of one year of warehouse experience including proven skills in safe operation of a Reach Truck, Standup Forklift, and Electric Pallet Jack.What We OfferAt Ferrara, we're proud to support our employees by providing comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, dental insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off (PTO).
