The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely and accurate manner. This role ensures compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.RequirementsAccounts Payable & Yardi BillPay: Process and manage Vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliation using Yardi BillPay.Monitor payment status, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with company policies.Review and resolve discrepancies in vendor payments and statements.1099 Filing & Compliance: Ensure proper classification of vendors for 1099 reporting.Assist with year-end 1099 preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations. Collect and maintain W-9 forms from vendors.Vendor Setup & VendorCafe Management: Manage new vendor setup and onboarding in Yardi and VendorCafe. Verify vendor compliance, including insurance & tax documentation.Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records.Assist vendor with VendorCafe registration and troubleshooting issues. Qualifications:3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable. Hands-on experience with Yardi BillPay, 1099 filing, and VendorCafe are required.Strong understanding of AP processes, vendor management, and compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Accounting software. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
