Bilingual Legal Assistant for workers' compensation law firm located in Irvine CA.This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity paying $23-28/hr depending on experience. This is an ON SITE position. Hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, M-F, overtime possible, when needed. Benefits include medical insurance and PTO.Responsibilities:Conduct research to support legal proceedingsCommunicate case information directly with applicantsProcess applicationsCalendar and schedule eventsAssist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documentsInvestigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputesMonitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulationsRecord and store applicant informationCommunicate with doctor's offices and insurance carriersQualifications:Bilingual in Spanish is a MUSTMin 2 years experience as a Paralegal or other legal field with workers' compensationFamiliarity with legal researchAbility to prioritize and multitaskExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDeadline and detail-orientedCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $28.00 Per Hour
