Implement lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students. Adapt teaching methods to fill the needs of each individual student. Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls and/or on the playground. Provide in-class and at-home daily assignments based on the available lesson plan. Long Term Substitute Teachers Rate of Pay: Up to $200 per day Develop lesson plans with engaging instructional practices consistent with the required grade level and/or department curriculum. Build positive relationships with each student. Provide effective classroom management while encouraging student participation. Communicate with students and parents about academic progress. Create and maintain required records for students. Supervise students in and out of the classroom including in the halls and/or on the playground.
