If you would like to be part of an outstanding team of aviation enthusiasts, we invite you to explore our job opportunity in Westminster, MD.Aircraft Maintenance Technicians are responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, and maintaining Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft. All work must be performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, FAA and FOCA regulations, industry standards, and company-approved procedures, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft in accordance with approved data and proceduresExecute aircraft maintenance tasks safely, accurately, and in compliance with manufacturer instructions, FAA regulations, and company policiesInspect incoming aircraft and components in accordance with FAA Certified Repair Station Manual requirementsPerform ground operational checks and ground runs to verify aircraft system functionality before and after maintenance activitiesAccurately document work performed, discrepancies noted, corrective actions taken, and parts used in work orders, job cards, and production recordsMaintain accurate daily timecard entries reflecting time spent on assigned tasksStay current on applicable airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and service lettersMaintain and properly use personal tools, test equipment, and ground support equipmentMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and comply with all safety policies and PPE requirementsPromote company policies and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented work environmentComplete all required paperwork including work orders, tags, timecards, parts requests, and training documentationRole Levels Aircraft Maintenance Technician I Entry level technician supporting maintenance activities under supervisionDevelopment of aircraft systems knowledge and maintenance skills Aircraft Maintenance Technician II Independent performance of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activitiesSupport and guidance provided to junior technicians Aircraft Maintenance Technician III Advanced troubleshooting of complex aircraft systemsTechnical resource for maintenance team and support for work prioritizationRequirementsQualifications/RequirementsAircraft Maintenance Technician I Ideal candidate will have 0 to 3 years of experience performing aircraft maintenance tasks under supervisionFAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate requiredHigh school diploma or GED requiredPilatus PC-12 and or PC-24 experience strongly preferredInspection Authorization (IA) preferredRelevant military aircraft maintenance experience acceptedProficient with hand tools and basic test equipmentComputer proficiency including Microsoft Office applicationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityWillingness to work overtime or off-site as operationally requiredAbility to lift up to 40 pounds, climb ladders or stairs, and work in confined spaces Aircraft Maintenance Technician II In addition to the skills/experience/requirements listed for Aircraft Maintenance Technician I, the ideal candidate for Aircraft Maintenance Technician II will also have the following required skills and experience: Ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of demonstrated experience independently performing aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairsStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for mechanical and basic electrical systemsIncreased proficiency with aircraft systems including airframes, engines, hydraulics, and electrical componentsDemonstrated ability to guide and support junior techniciansProficient with specialized test equipment Aircraft Maintenance Technician III In addition to the skills/experience/requirements listed for Aircraft Maintenance Technician II, the ideal candidate for Aircraft Maintenance Technician III will also have the following required skills and experience: Ideal candidate will have 4 to 7 years of strong and demonstrated experience troubleshooting and maintaining complex aircraft systemsStrong understanding of advanced mechanical and electrical systemsProficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, service bulletins, and maintenance documentationHigh level of technical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to qualityWhat We Offer11 paid holidays a year, plus 15 days of paid vacation time, and 6 days of paid sick/personal time to start with an increase to 20 days of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus90% of medical, dental, and vision premiums paid for single coverage and 80% for family coverage, averaging $9,600 annuallyMonthly health savings account (HSA) contributions totaling $2,250 for single coverage and $3,000 for family coverage annually401(k) retirement plan matching up to 6%Life and long-term disability insurance premiums paid in fullTuition assistance available annually after the first yearThe pay range is $26.63 - $43.32 per hour depending on experience.
