Material Handler

Adecco is currently seeking a reliable Material Handler: **Job Summary** We are seeking a dependable and hardworking **Material Handler** to support daily warehouse operations. The Material Handler is responsible for moving, storing, and organizing materials, products, and inventory throughout the warehouse. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently to support production, shipping, and receiving activities. **Key Responsibilities** + Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using manual labor or warehouse equipment + Transport materials to designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping zones + Assist with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments for accuracy and damage + Pick and stage materials or products for orders and shipments + Maintain accurate inventory by labeling, scanning, and tracking materials + Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks (if certified) + Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment + Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and warehouse organization + Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding inventory needs or issues **Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred + Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus + Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to **50 lbs** or more + Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for long periods + Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment + Basic math and organizational skills + Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain) **Skills & Competencies** + Attention to detail + Physical stamina and reliability + Time management and productivity + Teamwork and communication + Basic inventory or warehouse management system knowledge (preferred) Pay rate: $18.00-$20.00 an hour, 35-40 hours a week **Pay Details:** $18.00 to $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
