Its schools have received 96 U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Awards.The Office of Legal Services provides the Archdiocese of Chicago legal counsel in the areas of general litigation, employment law, immigration services, religious freedom, real estate transactions, contracts, and administrative proceedings.The summer legal intern will be exposed to a variety of legal areas. We are looking for summer legal intern applicants who have strong academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills, a passion for the legal profession, and a demonstrated interest and/or experience in not-for-profit and/or religious organizations.Position is unpaid. OLS Summer Legal Interns are from Notre Dame Law School and are considered volunteers, not compensated through the Archdiocese. Interns receive compensation through a grant awarded by Notre Dame Law School. Interns execute a Volunteer Services Agreement to memorialize their time.
