Job Description: Work Location: Los Angeles, CA 90032 Job Title: Strategic Program/Project Manager Assignment Duration: 6 months, possible extensions Pay Rate: $90 to $100 per hour on w2. Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Interview Process: 2–3 steps via Video/Teams Dress Code: Business Casual Description: The Strategic Program/Project Manager supports and reports directly to the EPMO, serving as an execution extension of the EPMO Executive leader for large scale, high visibility initiatives. This role is responsible for translating strategic direction into disciplined execution across complex, cross functional programs while maintaining strong governance, financial control, and executive level communication. The position does not report into operational leadership but is expected to engage operational executives, clinical leaders, IT, finance, and vendors as needed to deliver sponsored initiatives. The Strategic Program Manager role will support the planning, execution, governance, and delivery of initiatives, including enterprise IT programs, system integrations, infrastructure investments, and strategic transformation efforts. Core responsibilities include execution leadership, program controls, vendor oversight, financial tracking, delivery management, and executive reporting tied to capital programs. Key Responsibilities • Lead day to day execution of complex, multi workstream strategic programs sponsored at the executive or board level. • Translate executive strategy, decisions, and priorities into integrated project plans, milestones, and deliverables. • Manage program governance, risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation paths. • Prepare executive ready status updates, dashboards, KPIs, and briefing materials for senior leadership and boards. • Manage program financials, including ROMs, budgets, forecasts, and variance explanations. • Coordinate and oversee third party vendors and system integrators to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and quality expectations. • Facilitate cross functional alignment across IT, clinical, operational, and finance stakeholders. • Support change management, readiness, and adoption activities associated with transformation initiatives. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in healthcare systems, academic medical centers, or regulated environments. • Knowledge with EPMO frameworks, governance models, and KPI driven reporting. • Experience supporting M&A integration, enterprise system extensions, or major transformation initiatives. • The ideal candidate is a senior, self directed program leader who can operate with autonomy, manage ambiguity, protect executive intent, and deliver results in fast paced, high change environments.
