Print Production Operator

Job DescriptionJob Title: Print Production OperatorPay Rate: $16.65 - $26.55 per hour (based on experience)Looking to advance your career in print production? In this critical role, you will set up, adjust, and operate a variety of auxiliary and automatic binding machines, ensuring the production of high-quality printed materials such as books, magazines, and catalogs. Your expertise in machine setup, troubleshooting, and quality monitoring will be essential in delivering products that meet our high standards of excellence and efficiency. Required Skills: Extensive knowledge of setup, adjustment, and operation of binding, folding, collating, and cutting equipment Proficiency in operating complex binding machines, including perfect binders with multiple process stations Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and make precise adjustments using hand tools and specialized devices Experience in inspecting equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, work tickets, and machine operation sequences Skilled in monitoring quality, productivity, and output, making real-time adjustments as needed Leadership skills to direct and train production crew members effectivelyNice to Have Skills: Familiarity with digital printing processes and related equipment Experience working with different paper weights, sizes, and types, including identifying film conditions such as moisture and curling Knowledge of safety protocols and certifications in manufacturing or print production environmentsPreferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in print production or bindery technology preferred Minimum of 2+ years of experience operating binding and finishing equipment in a commercial print settingOther Requirements: Ability to lift and handle heavy materials and stand for long periods Flexibility to work multiple shifts or overtime to meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindsetIf you're passionate about delivering top-quality printed materials and thrive in a collaborative environment, don't wait-apply now to become a vital part of our innovative print team!Advance Services is an equal opportunity employer. #1ASI
