If you're looking for a dealership that values professionalism, teamwork, and long-term careers, Huntersville Ford is a great place to work.The Parts Advisor is responsible for managing the parts sales process from initial request through final delivery while providing a high level of service to both internal departments and retail customers.Parts Advisor - Job ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Oversee the complete parts sales process from quote to fulfillmentAccurately identify, price, and order parts using electronic parts catalogsCommunicate clearly and professionally with technicians, advisors, body shop staff, and customers regarding parts availability and statusAnswer inbound phone calls and provide accurate pricing, availability, and product informationReview body shop estimates to ensure correct parts selection and pricing alignmentPull, fill, and stage parts orders from inventory for internal and external customersPerform weekly bin checks and assist with inventory accuracy and organizationEnsure all internal parts requests are properly billed to the correct service repair ordersReceive payments from retail customers or secure credit authorization as neededIdentify out-of-stock items, source parts from outside vendors, and submit emergency orders when requiredProactively notify the Parts Manager of inventory shortages or urgent material needsDeliver consistent, high-quality customer service in a fast-paced dealership environmentWork Schedule & HoursFull-time positionTypical schedule: Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturday coverageDaytime business hours aligned with dealership operationsOvertime may be required based on business needsSchedule subject to change to support shop and customer demandQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; prior automotive parts experience preferredStrong communication, organization, and time-management skillsAbility to read and interpret parts catalogs, estimates, and technical documentationComfortable performing basic math calculations including pricing, discounts, and percentagesAbility to work efficiently in a team-oriented, customer-focused environmentValid driver's license with a clean driving recordWhat We OfferFree health insurance option available401(k) with company matchHSA company contributionDental and vision insurancePaid vacation, holiday pay, and PTOCareer advancement opportunities with promotion from withinEmployee discounts on products and servicesFamily-owned and operated organizationLong-term career stabilityAbout Krause Auto GroupKrause Auto Group has been in business for over 30 years and continues to grow through a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and employee development.
