What You'll Do Generate and maintain CNC programs using NX-CAM or similar software, focusing on Fast-hole EDM drilling and multi-axis small hole drilling. Verify new CNC programs before shop floor release using Vericut. Provide CNC-related support and operator training during machine startups and process improvements. Offer daily operator support for CNC programming and troubleshooting on the shop floor. Support and implement tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machine tools. Create and support workstation instructions for CNC-related issues. Lead process improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Communicate effectively with team members and work well both individually and in a team-based environment. Requirements Bachelor's Degree, Associate's Degree, or Machinist Apprentice graduate with 3 years of experience in graphical-based CAM System CNC Programming, or High School Degree with 6 years of experience. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with above-average shop math skills in geometry and trigonometry. Experience using CNC verification/machine simulation software like Vericut. Familiarity with multiple machine controls, including Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, and Siemens. Proficiency in interpreting drawing requirements and managing multiple projects concurrently. Preferences Siemens NX CAM experience (1953 or later). Hands-on experience with Fast-hole EDM drilling. Proficiency in generating toolpaths and creating helper geometry. Experience with FANUC Macro B for probing and tool selection. Familiarity with CMM/metrology concepts and basic probing routines. Ability to implement trigonometry and basic matrix rotations directly in code. Experience machining high-temperature superalloys used in HDGT or Aerospace components. Ready to make an impact?
