Job Type Part-timeDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Casino Entertainment Dealer provides outstanding service to create lasting and favorable memories. This position executes the company's core service standards, brand attributes, and initiatives. Job functions include providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service while dealing with multiple games and providing all other supporting services. All duties are to be performed in accordance with department and property policies, practices, and procedures. Top 5 Specific Job Functions: Provide excellent service consistent with the property's core service standards and brand attributesHost live-streamed casino sessions, interacting with GUESTS in a friendly, professional, and entertaining manner.Maintain a polished on-camera presence, including appearance, demeanor, and body language.Demonstrate excellent communication skills, clearly explaining game rules, bets, and outcomes.Greet and welcome guests, establish rapport, and provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving disputes, and adhering to guest requestsHandle transactions for "buy-ins", payoffs, and markersDeal multiple games, including Baccarat and Single Zero (European) Roulette.Take losing bets and pay winning bets following the rules and proceduresOther Specific Job Functions: Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere that provides guests with an exceptional gaming experience and ensures efficient operationsProvide a welcoming atmosphere by interacting, engaging, entertaining, and inspiring guest service and create positive, memorable, and efficient guest interactionsProactively greets guests within the gaming environment, identifying needs and fulfilling them appropriatelyDirecting guests as appropriate to minimize waiting timesActively identifies, acknowledges, diagnoses, and resolves guest concerns following service recovery protocolsEnthusiastically promotes features and benefits of Plaza Rewards, venues, and outletsMaintains comprehensive and accurate knowledge of groups, events, amenities, outlets, and general information, and proactively resolves any guest issue that arises, including the coordination of departmental assistance when necessaryExceeds standards for personal appearance and is always well-groomedVerify fills and credits to the gameMaintain general property knowledgePerform all duties while providing maximum game protectionNotify supervisor/manager of any suspicious or unusual activity and/or transactions in a timely and responsible mannerResponsible for the operations of table games on an assigned shiftDisplays a working knowledge of all table games, house rules, counting methods, and procedures covering eachAssured that all coins and check racks are always filledRemains alert to any unusual activities being displayed by any Table Games employee or gaming guest and reports any situation to the assigned superiorObserves problems or differences between Table Games employees and gaming guests and assists if necessaryPerform other duties as assignedThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee in this position. RequirementsRequired: Must be 21 years of age or olderAt least 2-years of gaming experienceThe ability to deal with at least four different types of table games, including Baccarat and Single Zero (European) Roulette.Must have or be able to obtain a Gaming RegistrationStanding for long periods of time may be requiredAdheres to appropriate gaming regulations, policies, and proceduresA highly motivated and energetic personalityCan take initiative and exhibit flexibilityExcellent customer service skillsHave interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contactsProfessional appearance and demeanorWork varied shifts, including weekends and holidaysAble to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral formsAbility to pass an audition and interviewProfessional appearance and demeanorWillingness to learn how to deal with additional gamesComfortable and confident performing live on camera.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and entertain a diverse audience.Preferred: At least 2-years of experience as a DealerHigh School diploma or equivalentPrevious experience working in a similar gaming settingCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Gaming LicenseWORK SCHEDULE/HOURS: Must be able to work flexible hoursPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have the physical ability to access all areas of the facility; move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects; withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying items weighing at least 50 lbs. without restriction.Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure; work indoors and outdoors, as well as being exposed to hot/cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors.Most work tasks are performed indoors; however, there are events where outdoor activities are required.
