We are partnering with our client, ActiveProtective Technologies, to hire for a Quality Operations Specialist!About ActiveProtective: Active Protective Technologies is a medical device startup committed to revolutionizing fall injury prevention and improving the lives of older adults. For more info on our mission and product, please visit .Position Overview: Active Protective seeks a Quality Operations Specialist with both industry-standard technical skills and an attitude to contribute, in a collaborative, positive work environment, to help support product management and quality. In this role the Quality Operations Specialist will perform a broad array of tasks to support our developing company, but will be empowered to implement improvements, as needed. We seek someone who can work under a standard procedure, willing to jump to complete a task, see places for improvement, and also provide support to peers.Key Responsibilities:Document Control: Perform document control with our eQMS primarily by reviewing routed documents against company standards; propose and assist in implementing improvements to the document control system.Inspections: Perform product inspections at incoming, during production, and upon return. Quality Investigations & Tasks: Perform other quality related investigations and tasks as assigned by manager.ERP Maintenance: Perform actions with the ERP, including receipts and transfers, etc.; propose and assist in implementing improvements to the ERP system.Materials Handling: Handle products, physically moving them between locations; Logistics: Create and manage inbound and outbound shipments;Tasks: Perform other tasks and duties assigned in order to meet company objectives.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in at least an ISO 9001 factory. Work in Durable Medical Equipment, or medical device Personal Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong ability to work collaboratively with team-members, and to work under business direction. Responsible, Technical Skills: Strong organizational skills a must. Strong attention to detail a must. Strong knowledge of quality management principles (ISO 13485). Proficiency with computer systems (e.g. Enterprise Resource Planner, eQMS, Microsoft).Knowledge: Understanding of medical device logistical and manufacturing processes, quality assurance practices, and industry standards.Physical Requirements:Must be present up to 5 days per week in-office, occasional remote work depending on needs.Must be able to lift up to 25 lbsMust be able stand for extended periods, stand and sit, manipulate box-cutters, and otherwise able must be able to work in a warehouse environmentPossible business travelMust have no violations of Medicare or HIPAA.
