Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work in the Tulsa, OK area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance and paid time off. Position Summary ITS is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to support transmission engineering activities with a strong focus on configuration management and compliance with NERC FAC-008 standards. This role is responsible for developing engineering packages, ensuring data accuracy, supporting field verification, and maintaining robust engineering and operational processes. Key Responsibilities Develop NERC FAC-008 compliant Verifact package, including performing full desktop review if needed. Issue engineering package for field verification and promptly resolve any rejections or discrepancies. Perform preliminary and final QA/QC reviews to ensure deliverables meet established quality and acceptance standards. Develop and maintain a comprehensive configuration management program to track system changes and as-built Transmission assets. Implement and enforce document control, versioning, and change management best practices. Prioritize and allocate engineering resources to support urgent real-time operational needs while balancing long-term strategic objectives. Lead risk assessments related to configuration changes and develop mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering practices with business and operational goals. Investigate process failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and tools to complete assignments. Apply established electrical engineering principles and techniques to support system reliability and performance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program and typically 2+ years of relevant engineering experience. OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (non-ABET) plus a Professional Engineer (PE) license in any U.S. state OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (non-ABET) plus a Master’s degree in Engineering from a university with an ABET-accredited undergraduate program Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD in Engineering) may be considered for entry at this level. Preferred Qualifications Experience with transmission systems and utility engineering practices Familiarity with NERC standards, especially FAC-008 Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience with QA/QC processes and engineering documentation Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills About Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) ITS is an international recruiting and staffing firm founded in 1984.
