Your Role: The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with the community, its residents, sponsors, and vendors through events and proactive reach out. Assists in the oversight and day to day operations of the fitness center. Community Engagement:Develops and maintains ongoing relationship with members and class participants; acts as the face of the fitness centerManagement and oversight of any vendor programs as well as any new health and wellness programs in the community (massage, dog groomer etc.)Works closely with client Marketing Director to cross promote events, team up on marketing initiatives and social media exposureRegularly audits any vendor programEngages in the community outside of the fitness center, promoting the fitness center program and encouraging membershipFosters and maintains relationships with potential and current members, and client contactAttends community events, meets with residents and business promoting the fitness centerCreates relationships with new vendors and/or sponsors for: trunk shows, in-gym samplings, samples for workouts, etc.Manages sponsorship relationships for The Resort eventsResponsible for Wellness Initiatives (bulletin boards, newsletters, lunch n learns, etc)Responsible for Health Education and Promotion programsFitness Center Operations:Assists with the day to day operations of The ResortAssist in purchasing supplies for fitness centerFitness center floor supervisionAssists with equipment upkeep and inventoryMarketing and Social Media:Utilizes social media including Facebook, Instagram, website, etc to promote fitness center and update center informationMarketing and promotionsDesigns resort E-Blasts, and flyers for programming (may work directly with TBD team)Fitness Instruction:Provides group exercise instruction (up to 4 classes per week)Responsible for 1 Live class per month and 1 Station class per quarter.Conducts member tours, fitness assessments, fitness center and equipment orientations, exercise prescriptions (design program plans) and moreProvides individualized, safe and effective exercise programs and comprehensive member services for all fitness levelsOther duties as assignedWhat we are looking for: Education: BS in Exercise Science preferredCurrent CPR certification requiredPersonal Training certification required in order to trainSpecialty group exercise class certification preferredExperience:At least 2 years of experience in marketing, social media management, and community outreachExperience in managing and executing events, programs, and community outreachExperience teaching group exercise classes requiredNutrition and Life coaching experience preferredSkills: Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service and presentation skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent computer skills including Microsoft and Google SuiteProficient in Canva and MailChimpMaintain all required certifications throughout duration of employmentShow support for company values through participation in Elevation programs and meetingsWhat We Offer:Medical, dental and vision benefits available for all full-time employees after 30 days of employment (on the first of the following month)Ancillary insurance benefits available after 1 year of employmentHealth Savings Account401k participation after 1 year of employment (with up to 3% match)Paid Time Off (accrual based on tenure)Professional Development reimbursement available immediately (amount based on tenure)Extensive Training and Development ProgramPartnership with ISSA for CEUs and certification discountsEmployee Discount ProgramReady to make a difference?
