This role involves shop and field fabrication, welding, and installation of steel components for a variety of projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, can read and work from drawings, and is comfortable traveling to job sites as needed.Key Responsibilities:Fabricate and weld steel components using MIG and Stick processesRead and interpret drawings, sketches, and specificationsPerform both shop fabrication and field installation workEnsure weld quality meets applicable codes and company standardsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaSafely operate welding and fabrication equipmentWork independently and as part of a team to meet project schedulesTravel to remote job sites as requiredQualifications:Proven experience as a fabricator and/or welderProficiency with MIG and Stick weldingAbility to read and understand fabrication drawingsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to lift up to 70 lbs and work in physically demanding environmentsValid driver's licenseAWS certification preferred but not requiredSchedule: Full-time, 40+ hours per weekTravel: Approximately 15%Pay: $28-$33 per hour (based on experience)Benefits:Paid certification testing as applicablePer diem for travelHealth insuranceVision insuranceDental insuranceLife insuranceDisability insurance401(k)Paid time off (PTO)Paid holidaysReferral bonus programEqual Employment OpportunityOntivity provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
