They support their families and build long term careers they are proud of.Auburn Gear is proud to offer to our employees:Competitive hourly wagePaid holidays and vacation daysExcellent medical benefit package available on the 1st day of the month following your date of hire401k plan with a generous company matchJob Duties and Responsibilities:Perform preventive maintenance and repair machining centers and lathesTroubleshoot and repair all hydraulics and pneumaticsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, electrical printouts and operation sheetsDevelop exceptional safety record and promotes good safety practicesAbility to accurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, also basic knowledge of percentages and decimals as related to manufacturingMaintain records on work projects completed; prepare written reports related to work assignments; document actions and present written progress reportsInterface with all departments and levels of management Education and/or Experience:Ability to diagnose complex hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systemsElectrical knowledge of 120, 220 volt AC single phase, 480 volt 3 phase, 5, 12, 24 volt DCCNC machine maintenance: Troubleshooting, installing, maintainingHigh school diploma or equivalent Page BreakComputer Skills:To perform this job successfully the following computer proficiencies are desired: Internet Explorer; Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
