Maintenance HVAC Technician (Nu Stadium)

Inter Miami CF is seeking an experienced Maintenance HVAC Technician to support stadium and facility operations. This position is responsible for ensuring reliable performance of HVAC systems that support player areas, offices, hospitality spaces, concourses, and event environments.The ideal candidate is a high-level service technician with strong troubleshooting skills in commercial and industrial HVAC systems, capable of maintaining comfort and system reliability during daily operations and high-profile events.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: HVAC Service & Troubleshooting Diagnose and repair HVAC system faults and performance issuesService and maintain chillers, package units, air handlers, split systems, and VRF/VRV systemsTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC componentsPerform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipmentInspect and maintain ventilation and exhaust systems Facility & Event Support Support HVAC operation during games, concerts, and eventsRespond quickly to HVAC emergencies impacting facility operationsEnsure proper temperature and humidity control across facilities Mechanical Systems Maintenance Maintain pumps, cooling towers, boilers, and hydronic systemsService motors, fans, belts, filters, and coilsPerform system balancing adjustments as neededMonitor system performance and recommend improvements Controls & Automation Troubleshoot building automation and control systemsAdjust system settings to optimize performance and energy efficiencyWork with automation vendors and contractors when necessary Safety & Compliance Follow OSHA and safety standardsMaintain EPA compliance and refrigerant handling proceduresMaintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation Team Coordination Work with facility maintenance staff and electriciansCoordinate repairs and projects with outside contractorsSupport event operations teams when requiredRequirements Minimum 10 years HVAC service experience in commercial or industrial facilitiesStrong troubleshooting experience in live operating environmentsExperience with large-scale HVAC systemsAbility to read mechanical and electrical schematics Knowledge of HVAC electrical controls and motorsEPA Universal Certification requiredValid driver's licenseProficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong problem-solving skillsCalm under pressure during eventsTeam-oriented with strong communication skillsReliable and self-motivatedProfessional and safety-focused Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting stadiums, arenas, or large public venuesExperience with chillers and cooling tower systemsExperience with BAS/BMS control systemsTechnical certifications or HVAC licensing preferredExperience with energy optimization programs Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbsAbility to work on rooftops, lifts, and confined spacesAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Work Schedule Standard maintenance schedule with required availability for eventsNights, weekends, and holidays are required during events and emergenciesApplicants must have work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis and must not require work visa sponsorship from Inter Miami CF now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
