Copywriter

Description We are looking for a creative and adaptable Copywriter to join our team on a long-term freelance contract basis. This role involves crafting compelling and engaging content for eNewsletters and paid media campaigns, ensuring brand consistency across platforms. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team in Calabasas, California. Responsibilities: - Develop clear and engaging copy for eNewsletters, ensuring alignment with brand tone and messaging. - Create promotional content for paid media campaigns that captures attention and drives engagement. - Collaborate with designers and project managers to produce cohesive marketing materials. - Edit and refine copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. - Tailor messaging for various platforms, adapting tone and style to suit specific audiences. - Maintain a strong understanding of the retail industry to produce relevant and impactful content. - Work closely with the creative director and team members to brainstorm new ideas and approaches. - Utilize tools like Figma to collaborate effectively on projects, ensuring seamless integration of copy and design. - Deliver high-quality work within deadlines, managing multiple priorities efficiently. - Stay updated on market trends and best practices to continuously enhance the effectiveness of written materials. Requirements - Minimum of 3-5 years of copywriting experience. - Proficiency in crafting email and promotional copy that resonates with target audiences. - Strong editing and proofreading skills to ensure high-quality and error-free content. - Familiarity with tools like Figma; experience with Asana and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus. - Ability to adapt writing style across various platforms and formats. - Exceptional communication and collaboration skills. - Self-starter who can manage projects independently while meeting deadlines. - Experience in the retail industry or similar fields is preferred.
