NSG Group/Pilkington North America:Since becoming part of the Nippon Sheet Glass Group (NSG) in June of 2006, NSG Group is one of the world's largest glassmakers, manufactures, and distributes automotive and flat glass for the automotive and building industries.Benefits:Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) Matching ProgramEmployee Assistance Plan at no additional costEducational AssistanceWork Shoe/Boot ProgramPrescription Safety Glasses ProgramCompany Paid Holidays - 11Paid VacationLife Insurance at no costPilkington Employee Advantage DiscountsSit-Down ForkliftAs a forklift operator, associates are responsible for replenishment, staging, palletizing, stocking workstations, loading, unloading, and performing warehouse duties off the forklift.Schedule: 3rd Shift: Sunday Night - Thursday Night, 8:00pm - 4:30amQualifications Required:1-year RECENT Sit Forklift experienceAbility to lift 35-45 pounds on a frequent basis and on occasion up to 70 poundsUtilizing basic hand toolsExcellent attendance recordGood customer relations and communication skills (verbal and written)Able to work both independently and as a team memberCompletes other duties as necessaryProficiency in English language (verbal and written)Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facilityMust have attention to detailQualifications Desired:High school diploma or equivalent.2-3 years prior Materials Handling Equipment Experience (platform order picker, forklift, reach truck, etc.).Working knowledge of departmental safety, quality and operational procedures.Basic personal computer skills.Essential Functions:Stock workstation and assembly line (glass, molding and components)Stock banding area (banding, corners, fronts, tops, crates, separators, dunnage).Monitor cones to remove finished crates, replenish row glass and replenish empty crates, racks.Follow the build schedule as laid out by the planner.Ensure the workstation and assembly line are running efficiently.Split-con glass while ensuring not to use HUS on the ROCA sheet.Scan all crates into their locations as they are moved.Empty dumpsters, ROCA racks, recyclable cardboards totes.Put away all finished glass and components that have been used (built).Use RDT to complete system move of HU's (crates) from uncrating to open pick locations.Hanging - operate reach truck, hand crates into open pick locations.Replenishment - Operate forklift, move crates from bulk location to uncrating to be hung.Receiving - operate forklift, unload crates from containers/trucks, put crates away in bulk locations.Hourly Pay: $19.00 - $20.50, based on experienceWe offer an excellent compensation and benefits package, which includes 401k, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, company paid holidays, paid vacations, and education assistance.The Salary Range posted represents Pilkington North America's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of the posting.
