HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORC.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill a Heavy Equipment Operator position for our local operations.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Operate several types of power construction equipment including but not limited to motor-graders, milling machines, bulldozers, backhoes or track hoes, rollers, articulated dump truck drivers, front-end loaders, or hydraulic excavatorsLoad and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials using trucks, power cranes, shovels, or other related equipmentOperate machines to spread, smooth, level, mill, or steel-reinforce stone, concrete, or asphalt on road beds or other job sitesInspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment and conduct pre-shift inspectionsTake actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objectsFollow safe practices and proceduresOther duties as assignedRequirements: 2 years minimum experience requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMust be able to work days, nights, or weekends as neededAble to complete all required paperwork efficientlyMust be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver's licenseEmployer conducts drug screening and background checkWe offer competitive salaries and fringe benefits.EOE/AA, DFWP, We Honor Those Who Have Served.Position open until filled.Thank you for your interest in opportunities with CWR!
