Food Services Substitute

Summary: The Food Services Substitute will be responsible for providing food services in the absence of regular food service staff in the Tenino School District. This is a substitute position, and the successful candidate will be called upon to work on an as-needed basis. Job Duties: Applicants interested in this position must be willing to be flexible with job duties and have the ability to work with students, staff and parents. * Assist in meal preparation * Perform routine food service work as instructed * Serve meals and interact with students and staff in a positive manner * Operate dishwasher, wash utensils, trays, and other kitchen equipment * Participate in cleaning kitchen facilities Qualifications: * Valid Food Handlers Card * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent * Valid Washington State Driver's License * Criminal history clearance Supplemental Information: * The State of Washington requires a State and Federal Fingerprint check before hiring any new employee. * Cost of the background check and fingerprint is the responsibility of the prospective employee. * Employment is on an as needed basis * Position not eligible for benefits
