Senior Inter-Plan Business Systems AnalystLocation: Remote / Hybrid options may be consideredAbout the Role:We are seeking a Senior Inter-Plan Business Systems Analyst to join our Shared Services BlueCard and Operations Support Team. This senior-level role serves as a subject matter expert for the Inter-Plan BlueCard business across multiple processing platforms, supporting all product lines. The ideal candidate will partner with business leaders and technical teams to deliver innovative system solutions, enhance business processes, and ensure operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Partner with business stakeholders to identify system requirements and develop effective business solutions.Serve as a senior business contact and subject matter expert for Inter-Plan BlueCard systems and processes.Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams, external partners, Inter-Plan stakeholders, and vendors.Assist in defining system criteria, project scope, and system enhancements or modifications to meet business objectives.Identify potential system issues, perform business analysis, and support change requests and upgrades.Collaborate with internal and vendor testing teams to develop Test Plans, define test scenarios, and validate results.Coordinate Inter-Plan Release Global Certification and partner testing, reporting milestones to Project Managers and relevant stakeholders.Support post-implementation business checkout and defect tracking as needed.Identify and recommend opportunities for business process improvement and operational efficiencies.Represent the organization in BCBSA workgroups as required and perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Strong knowledge of BCBSA BlueCard claims processing and Inter-Plan Program policies.Proven experience with multiple business system platforms and an understanding of system design.Effective organizational, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.Excellent communication skills to present complex ideas to users, analysts, and management.Facilitation and presentation skills for demonstrating and training business systems solutions.Experience defining desk-level procedures and coordinating with project management teams.Knowledge of health insurance, managed care, or healthcare environment preferred.Familiarity with HealthRules Payor claims adjudication platform is a plus.Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred.Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience in a business unit or equivalent external experience.Demonstrated project management experience.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).Knowledge of project management tools and business systems methodology.Why Join Us: This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a team dedicated to operational excellence and innovation.
