Accounting Intern

The Accounting Intern will support the Accounting team in all phases of financial operations and reporting. This role provides hands-on experience in accounts payable and receivable processes, journal entry preparation, financial record maintenance, and month-end close support. The intern will contribute to maintaining accurate financial data and supporting timely reporting in alignment with company policies and deadlines.Responsibilities:Assist with data entry, invoice processing, expense report review, and basic account reconciliationsSupport the preparation and recording of journal entries to assist with month-end closeMaintain organized and accurate digital and physical filing systems for financial documents, including invoices, receipts, contracts, and statementsAssist with vendor and customer setup, updating records, and responding to routine inquiriesPrepare basic financial reports and ad hoc requests, such as AP/AR aging reports and transaction listingsEffectively manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet time-sensitive deadlinesRequirementsEssential Qualifications:Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred)Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and WordComfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environmentIntellectually curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learnThis position is ideal for a motivated student seeking practical experience in a collaborative and fast-paced accounting environment.
