We are dedicated to providing first-class professional support, leadership, and performance to meet the goals and objectives of our clients. THE POSITION PACE LLC is currently seeking an Acquisition Specialist for a full-time position. The Acquisition Specialist will provide a full range of procurement and contracting services in support of the customer's acquisition activities. This position supports the PACE LLC government contracting client, which is a United States federal agency. SKILLS/EXPERIENCEExperience directly supporting major defense acquisition program(s) or comparable commercial operations as an acquisition subject matter expert/program analystExperience providing strategic advice to program executive officers and senior acquisition officials on acquisition pathway selection, tailoring strategies, and risk mitigationExperience navigating complexities of the Defense Acquisition System and providing authoritative advice to senior leadershipExperience working with the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) and emerging acquisition reform initiatives5 years' experience in Major Systems Program Management for DoD, or 5 years' commercial experience in a program integration environment providing strategic level analysisDirect experience working within a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP) or Major Automated Information System (MAIS)Agile acquisition strategy development experienceCommercial Solutions Opening experience a big plus Experience and knowledge of other transaction authorityExperience preparing detailed acquisition strategies for major defense programsExperience reviewing, processing, and formulating general strategy products CERTIFICATIONSDAWIA Certification Level III in Program Management Contracting or equivalent preferred. EDUCATIONBachelor's degree with 10 years major program experience. Citizenship & ClearanceThis position would require US Citizenship and a TS clearance or ability to hold a TS clearance. THE PERKSPACE culture supports a strong work life balance and offers a comprehensive benefit package, to include healthcare (medical, dental, vision and disability) and 401k program where employees are fully vested in their own contributions, as well as the employer-provided match, from their first day of contribution. THE COMPANYPACE offers a realm of quality and excellence that rises above their competitors.
