Qualifications: Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator Licensure (PEL), required General administrative endorsement, preferred For a complete job description CLICK HERE Schedule: The Summer Exploration Planning Coordinator is a temporary/seasonal position. It is a non-union, non-contractual role compensated through a fixed stipend. Start Date: December 1, 2025 End Date: June 5, 2026 After June 5th, responsibilities transition to on-site Summer Exploration supervisors. This position offers flexible scheduling. Work can be completed outside the regular school day, making it well-suited for current teachers or administrators who wish to take on this role in addition to their existing responsibilities. While this is primarily an in-person role, there are responsibilities that may be completed remotely with supervisor approval. The stipend amount is based on an estimated 10 hours per week over approximately 25 weeks. Actual weekly hours will vary depending on planning deadlines and program needs, with some weeks requiring more time than others. Compensation: Stipend: $9,000 Three installments issued on February 13, 2026; April 10, 2026; and June 5, 2026.
