We're seeking a mechanically skilled, detail-oriented professional to support the performance and reliability of our production equipment and facility systems. In this role, you will help maintain consistent production flow by ensuring equipment operates efficiently, downtime is minimized, and preventative maintenance is executed effectively. As a 100% employee-owned ESOP company, every team member shares in our success.Ownership drives how we show up - for our customers and for each other.What You'll DoMaintain & Repair Equipment • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic) • Respond to unexpected equipment issues and minimize production downtime • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance • Replace or repair parts, test systems, and make necessary adjustmentsSupport Production Operations • Assist machine operators with efficient use of equipment • Understand daily production schedules and prioritize work accordingly • Communicate equipment issues that may impact production timelines • Ensure quality control processes are followed to meet customer and USPS requirementsManage Parts & Maintenance Systems • Maintain organized inventory of parts and critical backup components • Coordinate ordering of parts and equipment as needed • Track and schedule preventative maintenance activities (monthly, yearly, etc.) • Ensure equipment software and systems remain up to dateEnsure Safety & Facility Upkeep • Maintain OSHA compliance, including proper use of Lockout/Tagout procedures • Ensure machine guards and safety practices are consistently followed • Assist with general facility maintenance, including equipment, building, and grounds • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environmentDrive Continuous Improvement • Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and production efficiency • Recommend process improvements and potential equipment upgrades • Support training efforts to enhance operator performance and consistencyWhat We Offer• Employee ownership through our ESOP • Stable, full-time schedule (typically 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with some overtime as needed) • Hands-on role with direct impact on production success • Opportunities to contribute ideas and improve operations • A culture rooted in trust, accountability, and continuous improvementRequirementsWho This Is ForThis role is ideal for someone who: • Has strong mechanical aptitude and enjoys hands-on problem solving • Takes pride in keeping systems running efficiently • Works well in a fast-paced production environment • Communicates clearly and works well across teams • Values safety, organization, and attention to detail • Takes ownership and looks for ways to improve processesWhat We're Looking For• High school diploma or GED required • 5-10 years of related maintenance or equipment experience preferred (experience with inserting equipment is a plus) • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain active throughout the workday • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications • Willingness to continue training and development as neededSalary Description $30 - $32 Per Hour Depending on Experience
