Now Hiring: Property Manager (Affordable Housing Community)Are you an experienced Property Manager with a passion for serving communities and creating a safe, well-managed living environment? Olsten Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to oversee daily operations of a low-income apartment housing community located in the Dillon County, SC area. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compliance and resident satisfaction.Position OverviewThe Property Manager is responsible for the overall financial, operational, and administrative success of the property while ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations (Tax Credit, HOME, etc.). This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial & Operational ManagementUnderstand and support the financial goals of the property and work to achieve budget targetsMaintain accountability for property budget performance and physical assetsOperate the community in accordance with company policies and proceduresDirect property operations and staff in the most cost-effective mannerAssist with developing, monitoring, and achieving annual budget objectives with the Regional SupervisorLeasing, Marketing & OccupancyOversee leasing efforts and maintain target occupancy levelsMarket the property through outreach, networking, and targeted marketing strategiesProcess applications and ensure proper qualification of new residentsCompliance & AdministrationEnsure strict adherence to tax credit, HOME, and other regulatory program requirementsProcess certifications and re-certifications accurately and timelyProvide documentation to compliance monitors prior to approval decisionsMaintain organized and accurate property recordsResident Relations & Community StandardsBuild strong resident relationships and maintain high satisfaction levelsEnforce community rules and regulations consistently and professionallyAddress concerns, conflicts, and complaints promptlyPerform monthly housekeeping inspections for each unitMaintenance & Vendor OversightSupervise maintenance staff to ensure orders, repairs, and preventative maintenance are completed timely and correctlyOversee landscaping, groundskeeping, and vendor servicesEnsure the property remains safe, clean, and well maintainedRent Collection & Financial ControlsSupervise rent collection, deposits, batches, and petty cash recordsPursue delinquent rent and eviction actions promptly and in accordance with policyCommunication & LeadershipMaintain open, professional communication with the Regional Manager and corporate officeProvide leadership, direction, and accountability to on-site staffRemain available for after-hours emergencies as neededAdditional DutiesPerform other duties as assigned to support property and company objectivesQualificationsPrevious Property Management experience (affordable housing preferred)Knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, HOME, or other housing compliance programs strongly preferredStrong financial management and budgeting experienceExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProficiency with property management software is a plusApply now if you are ready to start a new opportunity with a great company!Click on Apply Now to be considered for this job in Dillon, South Carolina, call 843.464.1700, or you can visit our website to search for other opportunities that are currently available.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit /candidate-privacy/ .
