Job Description

Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate scientist to join the Exploratory Biologics group within the Immunology Discovery Department in Cambridge, MA. The successful candidate will contribute to the discovery of targeted therapeutic molecules by evaluating Client protein degraders through functional cellular assays, leveraging strong expertise in cell biology and biochemistry. This position provides an exciting opportunity for a talented scientist to grow their career in a dynamic, innovative, and multi-disciplinary environment at the interface of basic research and early drug discovery. The scientist will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing experiments, generating and characterizing therapeutic reagents, and conducting data analysis to advance innovative drug discovery programs. The ideal candidate should be independent and collaborative, with excellent technical, written and oral communication skills, and a strong drive to contribute to breakthrough research in immunology and biologics. Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in Immunology, Cell Biology or a related Biological Sciences field, with 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience. Extensive experience in in vitro human cell culture, including various immune cell types, with proven ability in cell-based assay development. Proficiency in multi-color flow cytometry, including instrument operation (e.g., Client Canto, MACSQuant) and independent data analysis using FlowJo or equivalent software. Strong background in cell biology and biochemistry techniques, such as ELISA/MSD, Western blotting, Wes/Jess, and confocal microscopy. Demonstrated ability to design, plan, and execute well-controlled in vitro experiments using Client research tools or reagents. Hands-on experience with protein-protein interactions, degradation pathways and lysosomal biology is highly desirable. Prior research experience with cutting-edge protein degradation technologies (e.g., PROTACs, LYTACs, or related modalities) is strongly preferred. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment.
